ETP Funds

To keep California's HVAC Contractors and Real Estate Management Companies competitive with cheaper labor
from out-of-state business, the State of California established an annual budget of "training funds" (between 60 &
100 million dollars) to re-imburse you for the training of your employees.

The State of California is interested in maintaining a healthy, viable economy and understands that in order to
attract business to the state, it must also keep California business, in California. The State also recognizes that
employees with high performance skills will command better salaries, provide higher quality of services and are
more productive and efficient in the performance of their work duties. The State of California calls this type of work
environment a "high performance workplace".

These "Funds" are set-aside from the unemployment insurance that every California employer pays. One tenth of
one percent, of the first $7,000 in income per employee that is collected from California unemployment insurance
taxes goes into the Employment Training Fund (ETP). Your business is eligible to be re-imbursed for training your
employees, if you meet the following criteria:

* You must have full-time employees
* Your company must have a CEAN - California Employer Account Number
* Your services are also provided in other states - Management companies with properties in other states qualifies
